About Lou

My emerging practice focuses on spreading awareness on current issues I feel are important and need brought directly to the attention of the public realm.

During my time studying my BA honors degree in Art and Design at Stirling University in conjunction with Forth Valley College I developed a wide range of skills. Skills such as fine art and contemporary style drawing, illustrating, painting, casting, wood working, and working with negative space and found objects to create installations.

I am interested in exploring a wide range of topics but I am most passionate about those that make a difference. As a young artist living within a society with a strong potential for change, I believe it's my duty as to highlight these issues within any means I can.

In my work I draw on personal experiences and opinions to create and evoke strong emotional responses in the viewer. Creating mutual feeling allows me to connect with those viewing my work even if I am not present.
